Q: will my photos stay in iPhoto on my computer if I back them up to iCloud?

if i back up my photos from iPhoto to iCloud, will they still remain on my machine within iPhoto?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

    iCloud is not a backup - it is for sharing and syncing

     

    Photos that have been imported to iPhoto are only deleted when you delete then in iPhoto

     

    I am not at all clear on what you want to do or what you are concerned about
