Is there any hope for my Iphone 4 after being dropped in the toilet on Christmas

After getting my phone out of the toliet and drying it off..it appeared to be ok...three hours later, I tried to use it and it was off. I put it in rice immediately a few days later it hasn't made a difference. Yesterday, I bought a bag that is for cell emeregencies such as this, and this hasn't helped either. I haven't had a phone for four days...is it time to give up and try to find a new one or hope the drying bag helps? I don't want a new phone, I want to keep this one and hope I can revive it. I dont have insurance therefore, I am scared I will need to purchase a new phone. 😟
