Strange noise near camera lens

I recently got an iPod touch 5th gen for Christmas. Everything works fine except for the fact that if I tap it lightly on my hand on the top area near the camera, it makes a rattling noise, as if the camera lens cover is loose. Is this supposed to happen? Thanks for all your help
