Q: Migration assistant from PC TO Mac

I am going to transfer files from XP to my Macair and subsequently my Mac Desktop.  Any suggestions or recommendations?

 

Any help will be appreciated>

    I recommend to delete all the files you don't need from your PC before using Migration Assistant. Those files will be transferred to your Mac and you will lose space.

     

    Then, you can open Windows Migration Assistant and start transferring files. In case that your Mac asks you for a password to log in after transferring, it's the same password as you had on the PC.
