My husband has the iPhone 5. I have the 4s. Now he can see my location on Find Friends but my phone reads Location Not Available.
The common fixes , enabling location services, un hide, turning both phones in and off even reinstalling the app have the same result.

My wife and I are having the same issue. I have an iPhone 5 and she has an iPhone 4, I can see her location but she cannot see mine, just "location not available." We have been through each step in the troubleshooting guide and still no change. Location services work on both phones.
I just found the solution to my problem. On the phone that not visible to the other phone, I went to "Me>Account>Active Device" where I see my phone listed twice, one of them is followed by (This Device). I selected that one and the problem went away instantly. I wonder why the name of my phone appears twice?
