My option bar is gone from the top of my screen. I'm not in fullscreen. I'm not in fullscre go into the window of firefox the option bar goes away, but not for itunes. How can i fix this? I thought it was jsut a netflix thing... but its not.

Maybe you are zoomed in. Press CONTROL and do a two finger drag (up/down) on your trackpad.

Well no but now i can't zoom out... but still thats not it, also i just realized i cant make firefox smaller. I can only 'x' and '+'.
Maybe I do not fully understand your problem.
The menu bar is on top with the icon on the left and the Spotlight icon on the right. What do you mean by your 'search bar'?

I suppose. The apple icon is gone i want that back... um no no i cant see the - at all. what ever that bar is that is always there on top that changes with the app. it's not there for firefox.
What happens if you use another browser?
Try a SMC and a PRAM resets.
