Wi-Fi icon isn't visible; but connection is fine.

The Wi-Fi symbol/icon on the upper-left area of the top bar does not appear, even though I am already connected to a Wi-Fi network.

There is nothing wrong with the Wi-Fi connection since I can still browse the Internet and go online.

There's no longer any way for me to know the strength of a Wi-Fi signal since the icon isn't visible.

iPod touch, iOS 6.0.1, iPod touch (5th generation) / 32GB

try resetting all settings. will not delete any data but you will have to reconnect to your network.


settings>general>reset>reset all settings.
