Is there future expansion to down load additional apps i.e. Major Broadcast Networks so we can view content that is being made free to view?

No you cannot add apps to Apple TV. You can mirror most if you have a device that does it though.

I found it kind of a downer that I can watch TV shows on my PC computer but have to pay for them here. I even tried to use my IPhone to Airplay the content from the Big Three Apps and no luck there, for all three major networks. I guess another option instead of fixing the hardware, fix the software. Apple could require all App developers to make all their apps and content through those apps Airplay accessible.
