need help

I tried to restore my macbook to factory by holding the power button along with command- s. Then i typed mount -uw / and enter.Then rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone. Then i typed shutdown -h now . And now it just keeps restarting at the grey screen w the gear spinng

Do you have the original installation disks? You need those to restore the Mac to original factory settings. If you do not have them, call Apple customer service for replacements. Have the serial number of the unit ready as well as a credit card. There is a charge.
