I get to the store to buy the application and it quits unexpectly and continues to do so - can't get it and don't want to pay 19.00 for Apple support. I'm at a loss

Thanks for the links, I'll try - I just opened my ipad to FaceTime and see that now it's asking me for a sign in - now that's not the same user/pin that I had associated my MAC - yikes - I'll try to troubleshoot using the links you have provided - again thanks!
