Hi Julie this did not solve my problem. In my new iPad the sons and husbands telephone numbers are there not mine
It's Julian. It wasn't supposed to solve your problem yet. I was trying to get you to clarify exactly what you are trying to do.

You can add your own contact details into the Contacts app, by tapping the + button at the bottom right of the left-hand page, then entering your contact details in the Info panel that appears.
Hi yes I have the same problem.
On my wife's iPad, I must have put my mobile(cell )phone number.
She wants to send text from her i pad.
If you go to messages, In settings. Go to send and receive it will show my number only!
You can turn my number on or off but you cannot change the number there, where do I go to do this?
