cant update itunes in Windows 7

I cannot update Itunes in Win 7. It keeps telling me that Apple Mobile Service is not up to date, and to rerun the installer. Done this about 100 times now and getting pretty frustrated. I have deleted and reinstalled both Mobile Service and Itunes several times. No luck....
