I'm trying to set up a new ipod and it is downloading info from another ipod owned by another family member

I'm trying to set up my Son's Ipod and the Ipod keeps downloading info from my Daughter's Ipod. I have set up a separate account for my Son. I can't get this thing to work! It has cloned my Daughters Ipod onto his new Ipod.

iPod touch, Windows 7

It sounds like you selected the option to restore from a backup vice as a new iPod.

Go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings and start over again. Make sure that iTunes is signed into your son's account.
