why cant i get my ipod touch 4.2.1 to upgrade to 4.3?

Your iPod is a 2 gen which can only be upgraded to 4.2.1

In order to get to 4.3 you need to buy a newer one.

Planned obsolescence. Wonderful. Another reason to HATE APPLE.

It is a fact of life with technology. Apple is not the only one.

Back in my server support days we used to say that as soon as you cut the tape on the box it was obsolete.

If you are serious about your complaint then just break out your abacus and enjoy yourself.

Your hating apple for not supporting an old outdated and slow piece of technology? If you tried putting iOS 5 or iOS6 on an ipod touch second generation it wouldnt even run and half the time it would crash. just use your money and get a new ipod.
