Q: Apple TV won't connect to internet

My Apple TV device connects to my linksys router perfectly, but will not connect to the internet.  All other devices (PC, iPod, iPhone, iPad) connect to the internet via this same router perfectly.  I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly.  Can anyone help me?

AppleTV 2, iOS 5.1.1

I'm having the same problem-- it just started tonight (or possibly last night but I didn't mess with it). It started by dropping the wifi connection, then when I reconnect (sometimes it takes but I have to try several times), it tells me I am connected to the network but have no internet access. And it won't see my macbook & so won't stream (so in what way am I connected to the network, I'd like to know?). Aggravating-- I hope someone has some answers for it.

well, multiple restarts of the apple tv, time capsule, & router made it read the wireless, but it still won't stream-- it just hangs. Did they put through some kind of messed up patch or something? It was fine a week ago before I went out of town.

I have same problem, but strangely was not asked to enter the wireless access code and cannot see where I should enter it. We're others prompted to enter it because I was not?

I have the exact same issue, it started doing it last night. My WiFi network and everything connected to it works fine. I've re-initialized all of the network settings in the router, obtained fresh IP, refreshed DNS settings, everything. It won't connect to the internet so no network date/time, no internet based services at all. Just the media contained in my network.

I hate to reset to factory settings and start again but I may have to. This is just stupid.

One more apple tv 3 with a big problem here. Worked perfectly for one month. After that, start loosing connection with the internet. Now, can´t detect any wifi network. I´ve tried all kind of suggestions, just to be sure that this is not my problem. Please apple, let us know what you have been trying.
