I have an iBook G4 that i upgraded memory to 1.5GB, but the video on YouTube is still very choppy, is there any way to cure this?

What processor speed on your iBook. Processor speeds less than 1.5GHz will do this, so there's not anything you can do. Your DSL/Cable speed is also a factor.

One thing that I do is to start the video and then pause it. I let the video load for a while and then restart it. The video is usually not choppy, but the video and audio do not always sync.
