How do I delete all the data off a app?

Giving my brother my 4TH generation cuz i got a 5TH generation for christmas. How do I delete all the data off an app for he can play it and make his own records and not have mine?

Delete the app and reinatall the app.

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
