Does not finish setting date and time

I am trying to set up an Apple TV. The network seems correct, HomeSharing seems correct, but when I try to access anything, I get the message that I cannot connect to the Apple Store until the date and time is set. I checked, and it says Denver as the time zone, and when I request setting it - it just stays on the message of Setting Date and Time and never finishes. How do I correct this?
