Will I be able to use home sharing if I'm using ethernet as my hard wire connection and not going wireless?

a LAN is a LAN wifi or ethernet it dont matter you can mix them as you see fit as long as they are bridge
it's much the same way that you can call a landline phone with your cellphone and not just other cellphones
