resetting the master password

My apologies for placing this question in 2 places...

Last night I reset my master password for accessing entry onto my MacBook

with Snow Leopard installed.

I must have hit a wrong key in my password, (fat fingered), and now, when I open the laptop,

It will not let me past the login page, with my name, and the blank space for the password.

I have tried every configuration of what I thought I entered as the password with no luck.

I reinstalled the original Snow Leopard disc I bought from Apple, and it is now stuck in the laptop.

(There seems to be no button to eject the disc).

Can someone please, please help?
