iphone 5 and plantronics bluetooth problem

I just got an iPhone 5 and the bluetooth device i was using with my 3GS - the plantronics m100 - doesn't seem to be working. I try to connect and the iPhone just keeps searching and searching, never finding the device.

Anyone know what the issue is or how to fix?

thx

Hi rebecchina and M100 users.

I am very happy with my M100 Plantronics due to the aural information on battery life, connected etc. I was disapointed that it didn't work for my new iPhone 5, untill I was offered to trade off with another brand but I was unsatisfied with the other bluetooth that did not have any information service. So I tried sereral was untill I got fed up with it and I held the outboard butten on the M100 for 10 seconds or so - then it connected! And it just works perfectly now 🙂

Thank you MikQM

I could not get my brand new iPhone purchased today to even see my Plantronics M100. I even called Apple Support and they were no help as they told me to call Plantronics. I'm glad I searched and found your tip. Holding the button down got the iPhone5 to see my headset and then pair with it.

Great tip and thanks a million.
