Is there a way to add new words to Mail dictionary?

Hi:

Is there a way to add new words to the mail dictionary?
and
Why is it that when you enter new words under Learn they are not retained (or shown as options) in future mails with spelling errors?

A nice feature would be the correct all. Such that all occurences of a misprinted word within a mail are done in one go. TIA

Ok here is the deal as far as I can tell. You can add stuff with the Learn button but they will never show up as a valid option but will simply not be flagged as errors. This however has several offshoots that make this really LAME. An example:

Say you were typing in Spanish and used the Argentinian dialect where certain words are not part of the mainstream Spanish language. One of the nice things is being able to write the whole text and instead of hunting for the special characters to insert accents etc, you let the spell checker do it for you at the end. Well in this case the spell checker is useless because the word is neither in the standard dictionary nor in your personal "Learn" one since your personal one (as an example) would have an accent the Standard "dictionary" wouldn't have the word to begin with. Morever it doesn't even correct all occurences of the word within the text.

This is LAME. Back to MS Word and cut and paste forget about Mail as an editor
