I put a password on my new Ipod touch 5g and forgot it, now I can't unlock it to use it.
Anyone knows how to unlock it?
Lol I think you can by contacting apple or just. Waiting till you remember. Have you written it down anyware? Is it like a pattern. I think you can reset it on the computer but I think it then asked for the password. Hope you get it.
Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iPod in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes.
