Here's what I'm working on:
Mac Pro Quad-Core
16gb RAM
Mac OSX 10.7.5
I"m exporting from FCPX 10.0.7 to Compressor 4. I have an 82 minute timeline. When Compressor opens, I select the standard DVD presets for mpeg2 video and ac3 audio. The audio file renders fine, but the video files fails and I get this error- "Failed: Quicktime Error: 0"
When importing every source file, I have optimized media selected. Any ideas whats causing this?
Open your source file in Quick Time, click command i and post a screen shot of the Info window.

Which source file? I have multiple source files in the timeline.
The source file is whatever you brought into the well in your Compressor job. What you exported from FCP.
I didn't export a contained quicktime file from FCPX. I used the "Send to Compressor" option directly from within FCPX.
I have since exported a contained Quicktime file that is currently rendering in Compressor, so we'll see how it turns out. If it works, fine, but it should work the other way as well.
Udate: The contained Quicktime file that I exported from FCPX rendered fully with no errors in Compressor, so I guess I"m in the clear, but I think this was an unnecessary extra step. Its a mystery why I was getting the error when sending the render to Compressor from within FCPX.
Anyone else that has this issue, please share any solutions if you have them.
