My computer is not recognizing my new 4th generation IPOD Shuffle
iPod shuffle, Windows XP
I had the same problem then I discovered I was not pushing the Jack in fully. Once I did this it suddenly became successfully recognised. (Only took me 4 hours of trying to realise what I was doing wrong) Hope this helps.
