So my iPad fell and the screen cracked,my mom is very paranoid and doesn't let me use it (its functioning perfectly) she thinks some electromagnetic waves might harm my health (YES THAT PARANOID) I was wondering if any of you could help me and get some facts to back me up so I can use my iPad ,I Would REALLY appreciate it!

Out-of-Warranty Service

IMHO, the biggest health risk you face from a cracked iPad glass is cutting your finger on any sharp edges.
that said, sometimes it's best to pick your battles with your parents. Don't think you stand much risk from electromagnetic waves, but the device might be best left alone until it can be replaced.
I might be best like you said to replace the ipad
