I am using xQuartz (Wine) to play World of Warcraft, cause the mac version doesen't run correctly on my computer. However, I don't get any sound. I have looked in the settings in xQuartz and in the game, and found nothing. My volume is up and everything. Clearly, this is an issue with xQuartz, not WoW.

I had the same problem, but when i googled this problem,many others had the same problem. There is no solution for this problem, because xquartz or x11 only purpose is to serve video not sound(which is really bad).
XQuartz has no issues with sound... if your having problems with Sound using Wine, it comes down to Wine's CoreAudio driver... so your issue with is how Wine is working, not XQuartz. If your using WineBottler, I've heard of issues with audio... no idea on a fix. I'd suggest using Crossover or Wineskin.
