iPhone 5/iOS 6.0.2 doesn't backup to iCloud

Hi,

The iPhone 5 with iOS 6.0.2 doesn't auto backup to iCloud when connected for charging , screen locked and connected to the Internet via wi-fi.

I had no sync/backup problems with my iPhone 4 and iOS 6.0.1.

I think that I have found the bug.

In iOS 6.0.1 there was a wi-fi problem where iPhone 5 has disconnected from wi-fi network and "jumped" to another wi-fi network. Apple issued iOS 6.0.2 to fix that.

It seem that the problem now is that the iPhone 5, in sleep/screen lock mod, disconnects from the wi-fi network and connects to 3G network !! iCloud backup doesn't work over 3G :-)

The backup either to your PC or the cloud works OK. You have 2 choices :

Connect the iPhone to your PC and run iTunes, than you can backup to PC or the cloud or both.

Connect your iPhone to electricity and wi-fi connection , and backup manualy to the cloud.

What doesn't work AUTOMATICALY as it should, is cloud backup when the iPhone is charging and connected to wi-fi and the iPhone

goes into "sleep mode". The reason ? When charging and "sleep mode", the iPhone 5 disconnects from wi-fi and connects to 3G, which doesn't support cloud backup.
