Slow startups with ML 10.8.2

I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011 running Mountain Lion 10.8.2.

I have been experiencing startups that are a little over 5 minutes long.

This has been happening for around a month or two.

Processor: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

I have 445 GB free of 500 GB

I have no login items starting on boot up.

I ran the verify disk in Disk Utility and it said it did not need repair.

I did upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion in July 2012.
