Can I run Windows Vista on my MacBook with Mountain Lion with BootCamp 4.0?
There seems to be some ambiguity about running Windows Vista on my MacBook.
My configuration is:
- MacBook mid 2010 13" 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo with 4gb RAM
- Mountain Lion
- BootCamp 4.0
- Windows Vista Ultimate (64 bit)
I'm not wedded to BootCamp 4.0 - that's what Mountain Lion upgraded me to, but if I can/have to run an older version, that's fine with me if it will work. I installed Vista just fine on my MacBook, but when I went to install the BootCamp software onto the Vista partition, it said "only runs with Windows 7" and I only have VIsta here (and would not like to go spend more money on 7...)
My sons new Phoenix RC4 flight simulator is a Windows product and he can't fly his new RC plane without doing some practice on the flight simulator....
Any help is greatly appreciated!
