May I install Windows XP on my new Mac Book Pro?

Prefer Windows XP over Windows 7. Works well with the app needed.

MacBook Pro, Windows XP, L A Public Library eSource

The only way to load XP into Lion or ML is through VM (virtual machine) such as VirtualBox or Parallels or VMWare Fusion.

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit recognizes 192 GB RAM and has an XP mode ...

Not using Bootcamp Assistant, But you can install XP using Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox.
