Send to iTunes

To archive your project or trailer on your computer or to transfer it to iMovie on another compatible iOS device (such as iPad or iPhone), you must first send the project to iTunes.

This process of sending a project or trailer to iTunes creates a consolidated version of the project—including all video clips, photos, and audio clips—that can be edited further. The original project or trailer remains on the device where it was created.
