Is it possible to change an iphone 4 originally used with AT&T service to Verizon service?

Verizon retail store says no.

iPhone 4, Help!

No. Verizon is a CDMA carrier. You can not use a GSM phone with a CDMA carrier. You will have to buy a phone specifically intended for use on Verizon.
