Hello, I am wondering if there is any difference among the following unlocked iphone?
1)FACTORY UNLOCKED iphone
2)Gevey/Turbo Sim Unlock
3)Software Unlock

how can you tell if the iphone is factory unlocked or sim unlocked ?? Thanks!
Call AppleCare, give them the model and serial number and ask them who the iPhone is locked with. If they tell you the iPhone is not locked then it was officially unlocked. If they name a cell provider it was one of the other methods.
The term "factory unlocked" has no meaning. Apple does not use that term. They simply sell phones that are "locked" or "unlocked". Likewise, the term "SIM unlocked" that you used, also has no meaning.
The best way to make sure a phone is "unlocked" is to purchase an unlocked phone directly from Apple, or from a legitimate source in a country where all iPhones are unlocked (such as India).
A locked phone can only be legally unlocked by the carrier it is locked to.
