It finds my network.it even accepts the password,but still no connection.sometimes,it connects to it for a second or so but again it disconnects

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
tried the first ones.the network is working fine on my ipod touch 4g.but i cant still access it on the 5g.i've heard that this has been an issue to both ipod 5g and iphone 5 users.the 6.0.1 update supposed to resolve it,but it didnt.they have released 6.0.2 only for ipad and iphone 5.Is there goona be any other update for ipod users???
The iOS 6.0.2 update was for a specific wifi chip that was only used in the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. Apple is working on iOS 6.1 but they have not announced when it will be released.
I was thinking of another possiblity.So I went to test it.And something really silly happened.I realized that my ipod connects to the networks which aren't password protected.It is really weird now what should I do with my home network.I dont want my home network open to all without a password
What encryption are you using on the network?
Have yo looked here:

it's WPA or WPA 2
Try another encryption on the router. I would start with no encryption as a test.
Also try the existing encryption bet set a simple password.
I first set the network without any password.It couldn't connect.After that,I changed the encryption type into every possible one(WEP,WPA,WPA 2,etc).It didn't work again.It seems as if my ipod 5 connects to every network except my home network.but if there is a problem with my own network,why does my ipod 4 successfully connects to it???
I have iPhone 3GS adn after the 6.0 and now with 6.1 i cannot connect to verizon hotspot 4G devices. I am able to connect to my home wifi with or without password though. Have Apple replied with a single suggestion on the issue?
i just have bought my ipod touch 5g but i can't connect to my wifi.it says"unable to join....."even after updating to ios 6.0.1.Isn't there any solution?????Please
