yes i have the same problem your not alone
Failed to turn off for the 2nd day.
iOS 6 really is Apple Vista.
Same problem here on my iPhone and iPad.
I really can't remember but i believe that yesterday the DND mode stopped correctly in the morning and it happened only today that DND was still on...
It's really dissapointing but it seems that apple has started to reduce its software qualitity!
Was the alarm clock issue happen in last year? It seems that the software quality is not degrading but similar issue keeps happening yearly!!
I'm in the UK and am having the same problems across multiple devices, have my schedule set from 11pm to 7am, however, here I am at around 10:30am on the 2nd Jan 2013 and still all devices are in DND mode, like other posters I was hoping this might be a 1st Jan issue but doesn't seem to be the case.
I've noticed that if you turn off the schedule section from within notifications the device goes into normal operation and half-moon is removed. Is that the same for other users, thereby indicating an error the with scheduling clock?
Same here in NZ with iPhone 4S. Let's hope earlier poster is correct and the problem resolves itself after January 6th.
I did a power recycle with DND turned off (both under Settings and under Settings-Notifications) and then turned on only the scheduled setting under Notifications. No problems since.
Tried that #pullman, but didn't fix my issues, this error seems to be so random.
As soon as I turned the schedule tab back to on after the power recycle the half moon came back! 😠
As with the poster above lets see what happens on the 6th January!
Tried the power cycle thing and no fix for me either.
Mine was fine on Jan 1st, but today (Jan 2nd) do not disturb didn't switch off on my iPhone 4S and iPad Mini. Same thing for my wife's iPhone 4.
Anybody know of the escalation path to Apple for issues of this nature?
Is there a bug report page or something similiar?
Bottom of the page. Contact us/product feedback.
Don't hold your breath I've reported several iOS 6 issues that tens of thousands of others are having and watching the tumbleweed is quite fascinating...
iPad 2, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4S... and Do Not Disturb has failed to switch off for the second day in a row.
Guess I'll have to turn it off until it's fixed... especially since one of the phones is used for work and the Do Not Disturb is set to end at 5am when my on-call shift starts.
Just became aware of the problem!
Tried the suggested switch off DND in settings and settings>Notifications then Power Cycle
All seems to work on iPhone and iPad.
I had to switch off in settings again, which added Scheduled 19:00 on the Settings page display.
I will check to see if still OK tomorow.
Thanks🙂
I have the same problem here in Portugal (gmt+0)
Hi Bill, I saw this scheduled notice so tested it to switch on in 5 mins time and it went past that schedule without turning on DND to don't hold you breathe for tomorrow!!
Seems to have several glitches!
