Do not disturb doesn't switch off in 2013

I have an Ipod 4th generation ios 6.0.1. The do not disturb feature was working for a time it would turn on at the scheduled time and turn off at the scheduled time but, it has stopped doing this. I stop using my ipod at around 9pm and the do not disturb is scheduled to go on at 10pm but, when I wake in the middle of the night and am curious to see what time it is I discover that the do not disturb hasn't kicked in so I have to turn it on and off manually. I thought maybe if I did the depressing thing of resetting my ipod to factory settings causeing me to lose all the progress in all my games including ones I had put money into to accomplish certain goal, I though that this might remidy the issue wrong! Thanks apple for the defective system and for costing me 5 dollars of credit card money I used in certain games.

A valuable lesson learnt. Read the web and forums before doing anything with your iOS device. I've had Apple devices since first iPods. Never had to do a factory reset.

Hehe, the problem has been solved! When I woke up this morning, I found the DND automatically turn off on the scheduled time I set up 🙂

British usage does include the meaning of lacking sense or reason so it would sort of fit.

Well just to comment , it still doesn't work!! Hope they fix it by the 7th of the month like they said!!

Issue is not resolved, still not following schedule, I still have to manually turn it off.

Yes. Same results here. It still does not work via scheduling.

Since January 7th it works fine for me.

All device (iPhone 5, iPad3, iPadMini all iOS 6.0.1) turn on an off as scheduled.

Make sure you have not activated DND direct under Settings. This is the manual way to switch it on/off.

To use scheduled DND turn it off under "settings > do not desturbe". But turn it on under "settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb > Scheduled > ON"
