Q: I have tried upgrade the firmware on my 3rd gen apple TV, but it keeps failing. Can I upgrade the firmware by connecting the apple tv using lan cable to my router or any other option?

You can connect your Apple TV to your computer with a micro USB cable, and restore your Apple TV using iTunes. Or maybe upgrade to the latest firmware.
