How do I open FCPX but turn off the auto loading of pre-existing events or projects?

so fcpx is assuming all systems can handle the growing number of open events (!!), so frustrating.

just like the youtube upload option assumes the internet connection never cuts out, with no resume function I had to start the whole upload again after 2hours of uploading. I ended up outputting to QT then using the youtube uploader which does resume unfinished uploads.

thanks for the link, i`ll have to get it. This software is seriously incomplete. Like how do I add effects now like in FCP7, their all gone but the basics. how do I select a piece of footage to do some effects on it via motion? is there a quick way ?

oh, BTW, will that plugin also prevent the previous project from loading in the time line?

As at the moment the last project starts loading all the footage and audio into the time line which is taking FCPX a few minutes to load each time (! aggh).

this would mean your currently opened projects and events have to reload anyway 😟😠

installed event manager and it works very well, was fast just tick the events and projects you want turned off from loading and press "move events and projects", done. and you can create and edit your own sets of projects or events. nicely done. why wasnt this in the software in the first place? anyway thanks..
