Suddenly stopped connecting to wifi.

I have a MacBook running 10.4.11 it worked great till a few days ago. Safari and Firefox became extremely slow. Then out of no where stopped. I get an error page. And when I looked under firebug it said that there was an unrecognized flag? Said to load something in the URL and something about command lines. I'm not computer savvy by an means. So Please help me and give me the simplest step by step instructions. With lots of instruction and direction :). Also iv noticed I have a lot of files that lead to no where. N I don't have an App Store? Or time machine. Is my computer too old? Thank u whoever u r that is about to help me!!!!
