will apple release a 16gb iPod touch color?

I'm getting ready to buy a new iPod touch but I really dont need a 32gb. 16gb is just enough for me and I know it'll most likely be cheaper, but I haven't heard any news of apple releasing an 8gb or 16gb for the iPod touch color. Any insight?
