Hello everyone and happy 2013.
I've always used the import function of the CD-ROM with libraries AKAI samplers, with EXS24. Now, after updating the system to Mountain Lion that function is no longer operational. The disc is no longer read. The same thing happened with KONTAKT PRO. Before I opened with Lion quietly CD-Rom Akai and Ensoniq, now nothing! Help me, please.

Are you sure it was the Mountain Lion upgrade ? I dunno, I seem to remember a post about the Akai import function being broken in 64 bit mode, so if you've started running in 64, try it in 32 to see if it works then.
I have some Akai disks but I can't try it right now since I'm on a PC laptop and I'm on Lion anyway. I did use that facility for quite a while at one time, since I used to use two Akai samplers hooked up to Cubase prior to getting into Logic. Sorry if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Firstly,
Akai support is not available when running Logic in 64 bit mode...

So double check you are running Logic in 32bit mode..
If you are and you still cannot access/read Akai disks this may be related to a ML issue as a couple of other prople have reported the same issue.... with as yet, no fix for them at least...

Akai Convert does not work here on OSX.8.2 and Logic 9.1.8 in 32bit.
The Convert window does not recognise the disc.

Correct... the functionality is removed in LPX

I Loaded up Halion 2 on my old pc and imported, backed up and transfered to my Mac.
I realised that I also have SampleTank but it's not 64bit... yet!
Still unsure why EXS has done away with Akai import though?
