    Read item 1 here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1899.

Windows 8 and Bootcamp is not supported. There are no Windows 8 Bootcamp drivers.

You'd be better off using a Virtual Machine - I use Parallels - if you want to run Windows 8.

But, too be honest, Windows 8 seems to be flying like a lead balloon - not sure why you'd want to use it?

Windows 8 runs perfectly fine in Boot Camp and Boot Camp Drivers does work fine on Windows 8 and installs without any problem.

It may not be supported by Apple but it works just fine.

It depends of the hardware. For example, my iMac doesn't work with Boot Camp drivers on Windows 8. The most important thing is that Apple hasn't released official Boot Camp drivers for Windows 8 and you shouldn't install it on Boot Camp

I have Macbook Pro Early 2011 and it is working fine for me using Windows 7 Boot Camp Drivers.

You are right, but Apple releases different Boot Camp drivers for the MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac mini and Mac Pro, and you could have problems if you try, but you can install Windows 8 at your own risk. In your case, it worked like a charm

It's not worth getting Windows for your MacBook Pro. There 2 different operating systems but the Mac has lots of better security and no viruses. Let me begin by telling you that you would need to buy a program called parallels which would cost you a good $100. Second you ld need to buy Windows 8 150-300 dollars. To me it sounds like you wanted toga me on your MacBook Pro. But Mac isn't the right machine to game on.  In overall like I said it's not worth it, The total would be 100-300.
