I have an old faithful iPod touch 2nd generation running on iOS 4.2.1 and I listen to podcasts most of the time. I am sick of breaking earphones and wires so wanted to use a bluetooth earpiece. I only lsiten to talk podcasts so the spund quality need not be hifi standard and I only want one ear.
Has anyone used a mobile phone type bluetooth earpiece to listen to media? Before I buy one I wanted to check!

I have had an earpeice arrive and my ipod won't find it. Any tips on helping my ipod find a bluetooth device. usual settings>general>bluetooth doesn't find it!
for the ios device to find and pair with it the device have to be put in pairing mode
the reason it's not always in this mode so you need not take those steps
is that that would suck the battery of your headset in a few hours which would make you a sad panda
