I used to have an ipod nano 4th generation and have recently upgraded to the 7th however there were some features like games and sleep alarm thatI used to use but can't seem to find on the new one. Can you still get these for Ipod nano 7th generation?

The 7th generation iPod nano hasn't got games and alarm
Are you able to download any games, apps etc or is it just literally music, photos and the nike+ thing?
With a 7th generation iPod nano, you can only sync music, podcasts, photos and videos
Though the iPod Nano appears to run iOS, it actually runs an OS called Pixo which is actually a variant of the OS used in the original iPod, while the iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad, and iPad Mini all run iOS which is a mobile variant of OSX.
Thus apps from the app store will not run.
The 7th generation iPod Nano does have an alarm. It is set using the timer. See page 44 of the User Manual.
The same situation applies to me because I just upgraded from a 4th gen and loved the games, but i miss them now that I have a 7th gen. Bring the games BACK.
