water was spilled on my iphone last night. THEN to make matters worst the upper half fell into a cup of water. I know it is damaged due to the little red strip, and the fact that even when it's on the screen is totally black 😟. If i took it to an apple store would they be able to fix it, or am I going to have to buy another iphone?

They will give a replacement if you pay for it. Water damage is not covered under the warranty.
