itunes/iphone question
I have new iphone, want to download itunes to my laptop (not an apple) can I do this and transport all music from the itunes that is on my desktop and connect my iphone to either computer?

You could then connect your iPhone to the new laptop. It will ask if you wish to erase and sync. As all the content is on the laptop click yes and then sync whatever content you want on it
Remember an iDevice can only be synch'ed with one computer. So it would have to connect to the laptop going forward NOT the desktop
