well as in the title my Iphone 4 (GSM) bricked this moring January first one day after my Extended warrenty is up. SO what can i do i dont really have the money currently to purchase a new iphone 5 right now. Is there anything apple would be able to do for me?

well i woke up this moring and my iphone was displacing this little message on screen that said something like "your iphone can not make and receve calls please restore your phone" so i got up and plugged it in to my Macbook Pro and after working on it for about a half hour a message pops up on my Mac that says "your Iphone has a problem please call apple to get it serviced" and my phone wouldnt go off the connect to itunes screen.

for $149 you can get it replace through apple
thats a bit of ******** for a phone to fail the day after the warrenty is up that to me is unacceptable, especially considering i would just buy an Iphone 5 if i had the money right now but i dont so thats not really an option for me
Take it to an Apple store, sometimes they will replace a phone that is just out of warranty.
thanks the apple store is closed today but ill go tommrrow to see what they can do
