I have just upgraded my system to OSX Mountain Lion and am now unable to print to my panasonic DP-8020E network printer. Has there been any success with this?

I have mine working on 10.75 using these;

install Ghostscript, Foomatic, then the PPDs and away you go.

I was wondering if it possible to use the scanning function with these drivers? I've installed the scripts you mentioned, and the printer appears online, but I can't seem to scan using the Panasonic DP-8020E.
I don't think you can scan direct to OSX. I scan to a little slave windows machine which just involves pushing a button or two on the DP-8020, then transfer to the mac. Not ideal, but it works.

Check the open source drivers known as SANE, Hamrick's VueScan, or Silverfast scanner software if Image Capture isn't able to bring it up with the TWAIN preferences. See my FAQ*:
