I just got my new Pro all set up and I see that I have a file named ytb.uid in my username folder. The only other content there is the normal folders (documents, desktop, etc.). What is this file and can I remove it? Thanks.

It might be something from a program that should be hidden. Sounds like it might be a user id possibly for some online account.

Not really sure what it is, but it's not part of the system and you can likely just delete it.

    Thanks, Barney. It's gone!

It's the user id info from a game called ytb - not sure exactly what it is but you can google it - there are icons like pool balls and football helmets - does that ring a bell? I found it too and guessed it's my fantasy football icon...decided not to delete!
